TEHRAN (IAO) – John Battiest, the French theater teacher would enter Iran with her assistant and work by the professional style of "Paper Theater". Head of International Section of the Puppet Show Festival, Roshanak Roshan said. She added that the paper theater is a current style in European theater. Battiest and his group are the representative of France in Iran who would hold workshop for one week.
Roshan added that this style has focus on the children's range. She also explained about the play and workshops of puppet show of Germany. The German group would perform the play of "gurindo and juringel" and hold some workshops.
Roshan underlined that the festival is planned for the students and would be more attractive for them.
It should be mentioned that the puppet show workshop of France would be held in the Iranian Artists' Forum (IAF) from April 12-15 (12:00-15:00). The 9th International university puppet show festival would be held from April 11-18.
